Who I Am

Akshay Nair

Technology fascinated me long before I ever thought about building a company.

If you've landed here expecting a polished founder story, this probably isn't it. I'm still figuring things out.

This page is simply a collection of the things that shaped me, the interests that stayed with me, and the path that somehow led me to where I am today.

Early curiosity

It all started with curiosity.

Some of my earliest memories involve mobile phones.

While most people were happy using them, I wanted to know what they could do beyond what came in the box. I spent hours changing launchers, installing custom ROMs, exploring hidden settings, and occasionally breaking things just to understand how they worked.

Looking back, I don't think I was learning about phones. I was learning how to learn.

That curiosity has never really left me.

Patience

Then I picked up a camera.

Around 2012, photography quietly became a huge part of my life.

At first it was just another hobby, but over the years it taught me lessons that technology never could.

Photography forced me to slow down. To observe. To wait.

Wildlife photography, especially, has a way of reminding you that nature doesn't care about your schedule. Some moments arrive only if you're patient enough to stay.

Those years changed how I see the world, and I think they still influence how I build things today.

Building

Technology stopped being just a hobby.

For years I consumed technology. I read reviews. Watched launches. Compared specifications. Experimented with software.

Eventually, I reached a point where consuming wasn't enough anymore. I wanted to contribute.

That decision led me to build platforms like GizmoGeek Hub, where I try to explain consumer technology without unnecessary jargon, and TechOrbis, where I explore artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, and the technologies shaping what's next.

Later came Cre8sphere Media, a place where many of my interests could finally exist under one roof.

Poetry

Writing became the quiet side of my life.

Most people know me through technology. Far fewer know that I've spent years writing poetry.

Technology satisfies my curiosity. Writing helps me understand myself.

Some thoughts don't belong in product reviews or articles. They need space to breathe, and poetry became that space for me.

It reminds me that not everything meaningful can be measured, optimized, or explained.

Purpose

Why this website exists.

This isn't meant to be a portfolio. It's not here to convince anyone that I've figured life out.

It's simply a place where I document what I'm building, what I'm learning, what I'm reading, and the ideas that stay with me long after I close my laptop.

If someone spends a few minutes here and leaves feeling like they know me a little better, then the website has done its job.

Timeline

A few moments that shaped me.

2007

Discovered mobile phones and couldn’t stop asking, “How does this work?”

2011

Fell into the world of Android customization, custom ROMs, and endless experimentation.

2012

Picked up a camera and unknowingly began learning patience through photography.

2022

Stopped treating technology as just a hobby and started building platforms around it.

Today

Building Cre8sphere Media, writing whenever words demand to be written, and staying curious about whatever comes next.

Life

Outside of work...

You'll probably find me reading about technology, taking photographs, writing poetry, redesigning interfaces for no reason, or spending far too much time perfecting tiny details that most people won't even notice.

And honestly... I'm okay with that.

If something here resonated with you...

Whether it's technology, photography, writing, or simply sharing ideas, I'd be happy to hear from you.
